40-Year Hilton Head Resident · Community Leader
“Fresh Leadership for a Better Tomorrow”
“This is our home — and it’s time we protect it with the passion and integrity it deserves.”
A proud 40-year resident of Sea Pines, Dr. Galloway built and operated a successful dental practice for over 35 years, caring for thousands of Lowcountry families. She brings proven business acumen, real-world common sense, and lifelong commitment to this community when serving on the county council.
She is running because today, the island way of life is facing growing pressure — from congested roads and strained infrastructure to unchecked development threatening our environment and the working families who call this island home.
Dr. Elizabeth Galloway is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the School of Dentistry at Loyola University of Chicago. She served on the Alumni Board of the Notre Dame Club of Hilton Head Island, which provides funding for local community services and scholarships.
A trusted community leader, she has represented her peers in the SCDA House of Delegates and on the SCDA Mediation Committee. Her commitment to excellence is further evidenced by her work as a clinical investigator for the National Dental PBRN.
Meeting with leaders at the Heritage Golf Tournament.
Dr. Galloway’s dedication to Beaufort County is shaped by a family history of service and sacrifice. Her father fought in Europe with the Army in World War II, while her mother served as an air traffic controller for the Air Force. Her husband is a Vietnam veteran.
A direct descendant of Revolutionary War patriots, she served as Registrar for the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and as a volunteer Field Genealogist for the National Society Sons and Daughters of Pilgrims.
Additionally, she is a member of the Jamestowne Society, which brings together descendants of early settlers for educational, historical and patriotic purposes.

“One of the cleanest and most attractive dentist offices I have visited. She used brand new 3D printing technology to create my crown. She always responds promptly and genuinely cares about her patients.”
“We find Dr. Galloway to be straight-forward and no-nonsense. She is not one of those dentists who recommends a lot of costly and non-essential treatments.”
“What draws us all to this special place — this piece of heaven — is its breathtaking natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, warm Lowcountry communities, and world-class quality of life. It’s time we protect it.”
